- Burning permits are required by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in many parts of the state to conduct legal and responsible burning in the outdoors

- Dog tags expire December 31 of each year and are available for sale starting approximately December 15 for the next year but must be purchased by March 31st of each year
- Limits
- Remember, you must yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle, never follow closer than 500 feet behind one, do not park in the same block of emergency responders during an incident, and never drive over a fire hose
